A unique custom build that bridges work and adventure.
The magic behind a custom van always lies with the client, although “client” feels like such a sterile term. After the various calls, emails, and texts, we consider Sally a great friend. And we love to build vans for our friends.
Sally came to us with a unique request - to build a van that she could live in full-time, but also operate her boutique letterpress print shop in, Sal-Studios.
Her business was operating in a sizable studio space in Denver, so we had the task of fitting a plethora of supplies and materials for her business into the van, along with a large foilpress and letterpress.
Make it Custom
While the layout, storage solutions and countertop space for the presses were completely custom for Sally, so was everything else.
We worked with Sally to select the perfect wood stain, cabinet paint color, hardware, ceiling design, cushion fabric and more to make sure that this could truly feel like her home.
And our favorite of all? The arched pocket door with a mirror and custom wallpaper which Sally picked out herself.
