Kaze was a flagship build for Dicot Designs, used for display at a tradeshow and was made available for rentals.

General Description:

Kaze is a fitting name for this van, as it pays homage to both the motif of the build’s design, as well as the creative process which brought it to life.

The goal of this build was for the van to feel natural, organic, and full of texture while being packed with amenities that make it a true dream van.

The principle motif of the van was the walnut light fixture, setting the tone for the rest of the space. This fixture alone inspired all of the gentle curves and soft edges found throughout the build.

The idea of wind was also present in the creative process of this van, as much of the design was not pre-meditated, but instead executed “off the cuff”, based on random moments of creative spark, as if delivered by a gust of wind.
