As van-lifers ourselves, we know how special your build is to you. Whether you’re going for weekend trips or a full nomad experience, we pride ourselves on creating a space that is uniquely built around your lifestyle. There are no pre-designed configuration options here — each van is entirely custom to what you need. From the layout down to the cabinetry hardware, we want to make your home feel uniquely yours.

Designing your dream, together
Your build starts with a no-commitment call where we can better understand you, your requirments, and of course, your hopes. From here, we start sketching and turning our conversation into a vision for your van.
Crafting a schedule and build plan
Once we settle on a design together, we’ll put together a build schedule and pricing. A 25% deposit is required to book your spot, 25% due on drop-off, 25% due at 50% completion, and the final 25% due when you pick up your new dream van.
Build and install begins
Bring your van into our shop on our scheduled date, and we’ll get to work. As we progress with your projects, you’ll recieve constant updates, letting you know just how far things are coming. Because our work is entirely custom, project timelines vary.
Pick up and final walkthrough
With your new van complete, it’s time to pick up your keys. Arrive at the shop and we’ll lead you through a comprehensive walkthrough and operation guide of your new build. From here, we’re always around to help or just chat. We love to know where the road takes you.

Perfect for weekend adventures but equipped for full-time living, Onyx was designed with all the amentities needed to be a home away from home. With gorgeous contemporaty design and functional craftsmanship, this build was a true one-of-a-kind van.

We love flexing our creative muscles, so we will build on just about anything! That said, we typically build on high-roof vans such as RAM Promasters, Mercedes Sprinters and Ford Transits.

We do not offer financing ourselves, but we refer our customers to Lightstream, who offer private loans for most applicants. You van learn more here.

Our van builds are completely custom for our clients, which means each build has a different price based on the amenities and complexity. That said, our most basic build option starts at $40k.

We build with longevity and durability at the heart of our work. But if something goes wrong with your build that was a result of our craftsmanship, we’ll fix it at no cost to you. We are happy to offer two year warranties on our builds for our customers.

Absolutely! We’ve built in a plethora of vans and have lived in them too. We’re experts on knowing what you want out of a van build based on your lifestyle, and will help you discover how to build the perfect van for you within your budget.

We are based in Boulder, Colorado, so you’ll have to deliver the van to the shop, or we can arrange a creative pickup. You should come for a visit though - we’ve got great beer, great views,
